Developing Finance Sense

It is important for managers from all streams to understand the financial implications of their decision making. It is equally imperative for them to analyse the corporate financial environment.


The aim of this workshop is to provide non finance functional managers with awareness and basic understanding of the way finance affects their business objectives.
This course is designed for busy managers and those professionals who are responsible for financial matters without necessarily having a job title or qualifications to match. It will help mangers understand the financial implications of their decisions.

Faculty

 

Prof. Anil Menon


• A Production Engineer and a Post Graduate in Management Studies from the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
• Mr Menon has more than fifteen years experience in the field of financial services. & Investment Banking.
• He began his corporate career with SBI Capital Markets Ltd, a premier investment bank in India. His last designation was Asst. Vice President (AVP) Treasury Operations.
• He later moved on to S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research as faculty. He is currently associated with their Family Managed Business (FMB) program. The FMB program aims at developing the second generation of Family Managed Business to manage and grow their firms.
• He has also been active in the field of training having conducted sessions for SBI Capital Markets Ltd, Godrej Industries , General Motors, Patni Computers, GVK, HDFC Standard Life etc.
• He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in Mergers and Acquisitions and is also a consultant to leading financial services companies.
